Yet another incredible couple that we get to photograph! Michelle (Michy) and Tommy are one of a kind and I had a great time capturing their amazing relationship. We met a while back at Calvary Chapel Kendall where we all go to church and have grown to love these two. They’re awesome people and together, these two are a perfect match. Here are some images from their engagement session…
So happy to finally blog this session! There are people that are great and then there are people that are great. Michelle and Rene are both
We started shooting their awesome Miami Beach engagement session at South Pointe Park and ended up on Ocean Drive with some really incredible locations. Enjoy!
Photographer’s have one of the best jobs in the world and when you get to photograph clients like ours, such as Victor and Kristine, well then it just gets better. These two are a perfect match in every sense of the word and being chosen by them to photograph their engagement and wedding was a great privilege. I had an incredible time capturing their awesome relationship and connection and can’t wait to see what amazing moments the wedding will bring!

You know you’re going to capture an epic wedding when you have to get on a boat to go shoot a wedding on a tropical island in the Florida Keys. In case you’ve never heard of this island it’s called Little Palm Island. If you ever want to have a relaxing, out of this world, get away vacation book a few nights at Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys, you won’t regret it. It’s simply one of the most tropical places I’ve ever seen in Florida. First of all to get to the island you need to board a boat that takes you on a ten minute trip to the island off the coast of the Florida Keys off of Little Torch Key and near Deer Key. When I arrived I thought I was going to be greeted by Ricardo Montalban and Hervé Villechaize from Fantasy Island! Needless to say the opportunities to take amazing pictures were everywhere. One of the first things I saw that I couldn’t believe was a wild deer just laying in the grass. I was told by the Island staff that they swim from neighboring islands looking for food on Little Palm Island.
Maggie and JP had a beautiful sunset wedding on the island that was blessed with beautiful skies and crisp ocean air from start to finish. Thank you Maggie and JP for allowing me to photograph your legendary wedding day, it was truly a spectacular experience!

One day I was going through our email as usual and I see an email from our friend Shelly, who by the way is an amazing photographer and also the owner of the incredible Doggy Studio in South Miami. She asked if we would consider photographing her sister’s wedding in Bogota, Colombia and thankfully the date was available so it was an easy yes! We were so honored that she thought of us and also extremely excited to book an international wedding to such a beautiful country like Colombia that we couldn’t wait! Shelly’s sister Tamy and her husband Daniel were going to have their EPIC wedding on a ranch and were planning on having a 16 Hour wedding, yes 16 hours!
First thing we needed to be concerned with was the altitude. Bogota has an elevation of 8600 ft, which is around the same altitude as many cities in Colorado. So, we were warned by everyone that we would get really tired by just taking a few steps and would have to rest from time to time. They weren’t kidding!! We arrived 2 days before the wedding and were still getting tired by just walking around on wedding day! We did acclimate slowly but surely and within a couple of days we didn’t really feel much.
We found Colombia to be a very beautiful country with tons of amazing landscapes, phenomenal food and incredible people! We want to give a HUGE “THANK YOU” to Shelly, Jimmy, Tamy, Daniel and their entire family for their exceptional hospitality and for really treating us like one of their own family members the entire time we were there! We honestly had the time of our lives and felt extremely welcomed by everyone!!!! So without further delay here are some of the million images from their 16 hour wedding (Colombians really celebrate)….
Oh by the way, this is definitely the longest blog post we’ve ever had!!
Wedding ceremony and reception: Hacienda el Salitre, Bogota, Colombia
As soon as we arrived to our hotel we received a very special gift from Tamy and Daniel. It was a cloth sac with an amazing note on it and tons of delicious and very useful gifts inside…

Thought we’d take an evening off to photograph our little boy professionally instead of just with our iPhone or point and shoot. We’re really happy with the outcome and the fact that we just created images that will last for generations to come!
Hope you have a fun and safe 4th of July with family and friends!

This was one of the coolest weddings ever! There was so much energy the entire night that we could barely keep up! So much going on all the time it made it so fun it didn’t even feel like work. Lema and Yousef didn’t actually have a traditional wedding with a ceremony, instead they actually did things a little differently. Therefore, you won’t see any ceremony pics as you would know them because the actual ceremony was merged with the reception. So with that said enjoy…
